Lois Moore, Partner, began her career working for the State Department in Canada where she acquired a broad range of working experience in the governmental arena, both domestic and international. She also participated in the management of several election campaigns in Canada. She joined the firm upon its inception in 1973.
Her Washington-based experience began as a Special Assistant to a United States Senator where she gained first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and participated directly in the formulation of major legislation.
Ms. Moore's extensive Washington experience in government representation has helped her to develop an impressive network of contacts with key committee staff and Members of Congress. She has a long, successful track record of legislative accomplishments, particularly in the areas of public works appropriations, transportation issues and a wide range of educational issues.
She works with a number of the firm's public agency clients and is particularly expert on issues involving such major installations as ports and airports.
She holds an M.P.A. degree in Government Relations and an M.A. degree in International Affairs from the American University in Washington, D.C.
